Isoflurane gas anesthesia and modern methods are only part of the picture; monitoring and attention to our patients is also key. Your pet's safety is our primary concern! Pre-anesthetic blood testing is recommended, and if there is a problem with your pet’s blood tests, you can expect a call from us, and we’ll postpone the procedure until the problem is addressed.
During ALL anesthetic procedures we continually monitor your pets blood pressure, tidal CO2, pulse oximeter, heart rate, EKG, and body temperature. An IV catheter will also be used in order to continually administer IV fluids during anesthesia, and pain medications as needed.
Our staff includes technicians who have been certified by the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians to perform dental procedures.
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Specialized dental sealants may also be recommended to reduce tarter build - up, and help to protect your pets teeth.
We offer the most advanced procedures in dental techniques. We perform digital dental x-rays on all animals that are undergoing a dental cleaning to ensure the health and structure of the roots and jaw below the gum lines.
Our veterinarians and dental technicians have been fully trained in the event your pet needs dental extractions, or other oral surgical procedures including root canals and dental restorations.

We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables and circulating warm water pads are employed for greater comfort; ECG, blood pressure, heart rate, body temperatures and oxygen saturation monitors are used in all procedures; advanced sterilization techniques are used; Recovery after surgery is carefully monitored, and pain medication is tailored to your pets needs.

Our veterinary staff includes specialists able to perform most eye, soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures. In the event a specialist is needed our staff will help you make arrangements for your pet at the recommended doctor.
